The Villa, which dates back to the early 16th century, is situated in the middle of a magnificent countryside, surrounded by olive trees and perennial plants. The building, with the central tower, has a square-shaped main part which is the oldest and a side wing of the early 20th century. At the beginning of the 17th century it belonged to Sir Marcantonio Andrea Lippi, member of an ancient Ghibelline family, the Geri, ascribed to nobility “ab immemorabili”.
The 16th of November 1768 the Villa was bought by Antonio Rinaldi Mascagni, and by succession came up to us, Giacomo and Betty.Some rooms have vaults, some other have wooden beams. On the first floor there is a precious library where the family archive is kept; here the rooms are characterized by floors and decorations of the 17th and 19th century. The top floor stands out for the original ancient cotto floor and the ascending tower from which you can enjoy a unique sight. There is a large terrace on the right side of the Villa which offers guests a bird’s eye view of the surrounding countryside.

The estate covers an area of over 12 hectares. It consists of large gardens with box hedges, cedars of Lebanon, horse chestnuts, laurel bushes, oaks, organic crops and olive groves. "We have preserved these places with the desire to offer our Guests an elegant and cozy stay, a bit suspended in time and at the same time equipped with all the comforts". During the restoration, the utmost attention was paid to the choice of beds, produced by a Florentine craftsman and equipped with high and very comfortable "queen size" mattresses.
